Stunning garden views, indoor swimming pool, historical building charm
The room access is clunky during events, which could be improved!!! Ensure the heating and cooling systems operate effectively to avoid guest discomfort!!! Staff training on consistent service is essential for better guest experiences!!!

Decent stay, but some quirks
The staff were super nice and helpful, but my room had a strange smoke smell and the noisy pipes woke me up early. Dinner was a highlight—really tasty and well-presented. Breakfast options were decent, though the tea was lukewarm. Would've liked some tissues and a toilet brush in the room too.

the staff were all welcoming and friendly. the public spaces were all clean and tidy. food was delicious and the chef really knows their stuff! our room was clean and tidy, the bed was comfy, and we didn’t hear any noise despite a wedding reception.
we never got to use the pool so i can't comment on that, and the main restaurant was closed due to a private party, so we had to eat in the bar.

Not very luxury but somewhat acceptable
The staff were lovely and very helpful which was a bright spot in a rough stay. The room was nice and clean, a good enough size for what we needed, and the breakfast in the orangery was quite pleasant.
It wasn't cheap but still acceptable, I expected better from what they claimed to be a luxury hotel.

It was just a smart choice for a flash visit in Wolverhampton with excellent value for money. The staff were helpful when I asked for a cold bottle of water to cool down my room. Make sure to request a room with air conditioning if you're visiting during warmer months.

Recommend it for couples seeking relaxation
Had a decent stay here, the room was spacious and comfortable, and I appreciated the chilled prosecco waiting for us upon arrival. The swimming pool was a delight, not massive but we enjoyed a good dip after a long drive.
It wasn't exactly cheap but still acceptable for what we got.

The pool offers a handy spot for unwinding after a long day, even if it's not the biggest around. The gardens provide a scenic area with plenty of seating, perfect for enjoying some fresh air.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning in some rooms leaves much to be desired, making for uncomfortable hot nights without proper cooling. I encountered cleanliness issues, with notable dust in corners and potentially concerning stains. The bar area feels cramped during busy events, making it tough to relax without feeling squeezed. inconsistent communication regarding available amenities can lead to frustrating surprises—not ideal when you're trying to unwind.

The restaurant offered exceptional food, making dining the highlight of the stay, coupled with lovely and helpful staff. difficulties at the reception due to its cold location and obstructive setup detracted from the experience. My room had an unsightly view of the air conditioning plant, and issues like inadequate towels and a trickling shower significantly affected comfort.
